Job Responsibilities:

Ability to work in both RBDMS MS-SQL Server and MySQL.
Troubleshoot and resolve database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
Should be able to work on Performance Tuning, Query Optimization, Identify Slow queries, Run SQL Profiler and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
Ability to detect and troubleshoot SQL & Mysql Server related CPU, memory, I/O, disk space and other resource contention.
Coordinate internally with Development and Support teams to Manage Day to Day Deployment Work , Resolve Database Side Issues etc
Ability to manage day to day monitoring and maintenance tasks (Backups / Restoration / Permission / etc)
Manage Database Deployment Task and Follow deployment process using Ticketing tool like Jira
Should be able to extract and provide any data requests from various teams
Ability to understand how various applications / tools connect to SQL and MySQL servers

Required Skills:

2+ years of experience in Database Domain
Good in SQL Queries / knowledge of stored procedures / Triggers / joins / functions / etc
Should have good knowledge in Database DDL Commands, and Managing database users , roles and permissions.
Strong Understanding & knowledge of Database Backups, Restores for both SQL and Mysql, Recovery models, Database shrink operations, Data Import-Export, Managing Index, DBCC commands, Database Replication, Mysql Master-slave concept etc
Knowledge of Database tools (Profiler, SSIS, SSMS, SSRS, PerfMon, Backup Tools) & MySQL Performance schema, Slow Logs, Mysql Cnf File Configurations.
Basic understanding of Cloud Infrastructure in term of Database service either AWS, GCP or Azure
Good communication and soft skills.
