About the Role:
We are seeking a Data Use Rights Leader for the Accenture Data Governance Organization to spearhead the definition and implementation of a comprehensive Data Use Rights process and technology solution. This leader is responsible for setting a go forward strategy and execution plan to secure secondary use data rights on all data types including client, venture, partner, and workforce data. This leader will work closely with legal on contractual negotiations, ensuring consent and/or transparency of use is built into agreements and data curation efforts. The Data Use Rights Leader will determine technology needs for a data use rights engine and manage the ongoing work to ensure the organization is building the internal and external client value case for data permissible contracts.Key Responsibilities:
Data Use Rights Strategy & Roadmap:Develop and execute a strategic vision and roadmap for data use rights that aligns with business goals and ensures scalability and contractual compliance.
Accenture Data Governance Platform :Envision , define and implement a scalable, automated data use management process and the technology to track and manage data rights across client contracts , publish and discover data products and other capabilities for this platform
Data Permissions & Restrictions:Collaborate with product owners across the domains to ensure data usage complies with contractual, legal, and ethical requirements.
Lead Cross-Functional Teams:Collaborate with legal, global IT, Client Account Leaders, Industry leads, and other business stakeholders to build a comprehensive approach and system to track data use rights, ensuring smooth communication across teams.
Business Stakeholder Management:Serve as the main point of contact for business stakeholders, defining KPIs and driving continuous improvement.
Data Governance & Compliance:Ensure data products meet regulatory requirements and champion data governance best practices.
Metrics & Reporting:Identify the requirements for metrics and reporting on data use rights.
Qualifications & Skills:
Skills:Expertise in working collaboratively across teams to set the strategic vision and to define technology requirements.Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data to make informed decisions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Hands-on experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.).Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data technologies (SQL, Python, Spark, etc.) is a plus.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment.Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving business growth through innovative data products.
Qualification
Educational Background:Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
Experience:Experience in data governance working to establish technology to manage permissible use of data.Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product ManagerExperience leading cross-functional teams (business, data, and engineering teams) to deliver complex, high-impact data products.Strong experience in building prototypes or MVPs for data products and iterating based on user and stakeholder feedback.Solid knowledge of data governance, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and best practices for managing data products.Familiarity with AI/ML applications and the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
