Role Overview:
Out client is seeking a technically strong and results-driven Consultant for our Data Transformation and Reporting team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java-based backend development, frontend interface design with React, strong database interaction skills, and experience with DevOps workflows using Azure DevOps. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data processing pipelines, enterprise reporting solutions, and deployment processes. Must-Have Skills: Backend & Middleware: Java (8+), Spring Boot, Hibernate Strong experience building scalable and maintainable backend applications. Frontend: React. js Experience creating responsive, dynamic UIs integrated with backend services. Database: SQL (Complex Queries, Joins, Indexing, Optimization) Solid understanding of relational databases and hands-on experience writing efficient SQL queries. Scripting: PowerShell Used for automation, task scheduling, or deployment scripts in a Windows environment. DevOps & CI/CD: Azure DevOps (Pipelines & Git) Experience creating and managing build/release pipelines, and version control using Git (within Azure DevOps). Nice-to-Have Skills: CloverETL / Pentaho / Talend or similar ETL tools Hands-on experience in designing and managing data transformation pipelines. Python Scripting or data transformation logic using Python libraries (Pandas, etc. ). Eclipse RCP Framework Experience in developing Eclipse Rich Client Platform applications. API Design (RESTful APIs) Capable of designing scalable and well-documented APIs using tools like Swagger, APIDog, or OpenAPI. Responsibilities: Design and implement backend services and REST APIs for data processing and reporting features. Create user-friendly and interactive front-end components for data visualization and interaction. Build, monitor, and maintain data transformation pipelines for large-scale systems. Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures. Automate deployment, testing, and monitoring processes using Azure DevOps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and DevOps teams. Document solutions using standard API documentation tools like Swagger or APIDog. Preferred Experience: 4+ years of professional software development experience. Proven record of delivering data-heavy enterprise applications or reporting platforms. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and version control best practices. Ability to troubleshoot performance bottlenecks across application layers.
