Job Description

The Data Solutions Specialist role at Morningstar involves offering market data for a variety of global instruments on major exchanges worldwide. As a Customer Support Representative, you would be part of a global support team assisting clients with market data queries. Your responsibilities would include providing customer support during your shift, understanding financial data and global stock exchanges, delivering exceptional customer service by efficiently resolving client issues, and collaborating with senior staff to offer specialized support to key clients. You would also be required to document actions in CRM (Salesforce), create escalations for other teams in Jira, follow up on outstanding queries with clients, assist in creating documentation and knowledge sharing, and actively contribute to process improvement projects. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to client service, the ability to work in a demanding environment, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, and a good understanding of market data or relevant experience.
