Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Understand the business deeply and translate business problems to data science and analytics

problems

Understanding of Bureau data.
Mentoring and provide training to data scientists, analysts
Brainstorm, research, learn & implement new/existing AI & Machine learning algorithms
Build statistical models and algorithms using R / Python/Spark/Databricks
Develop solid understanding of business drivers and how data is used to drive decisions and

behaviors

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders and teams such as Policy, Credit, Collections, Operations,

Product etc

Presenting results of models/analytical solutions to management

Preferred candidate profile

3+ years of experience in hands-on Data Analysis (Bureau) using python/R in BFSI domain.

• Mathematical & statistical understanding of machine learning algorithms (GBM, Logistc Regression,

Linear Regression, Deep Learning etc.)

• Ability to draw conclusions and insights from data. Strong logical reasoning and data interpretation

skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills & the desire to solve hard problems

• Experience in model deployment is strongly preferred

• Background in Statistics, Computer science, and related fields is strongly preferred

• Experience in leading a team of data scientists, python developers, analysts is strongly preferred

• Understanding of AWS or other cloud platforms.
