Data Scientist

Looking for a candidate with 4+ years in Python and machine learning, skilled in ML algorithms, embedding/vector search (FAISS, Pinecone), Generative AI/LLMs, prompt engineering, model deployment (FastAPI, Docker), and experience with OCR and tools like LangChain and Hugging Face. Key Responsibilities:

• 4+ years of experience in Python programming and end-to-end machine learning development • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms, model training, evaluation and optimization • Hands-on experience with embedding techniques and vector search using FAISS, Pinecone, or Elasticsearch

• Exposure to Generative AI and working with LLMs such as GPT, LLaMA, Claude, etc.

• Practical experience in prompt engineering and fine-tuning of pretrained models

• Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and retrieval-based generation

• Model deployment experience using FastAPI, Flask and Docker

• Experience with open-source LLMs such as LLaMA2/3, Mistral, Falcon, etc.

• Proficiency in OCR tools for extracting data from images

• Exposure to tools and frameworks like LangChain, Hugging Face Transformers, OpenAI API, etc.
