This role is with one of our client, which is an AI-Powered Revenue Cycle Intelligence Platform, transforming the healthcare billing stack with autonomous medical coding, proactive denial prevention, and workflow automation solutions.

We are looking for a Data Science Manager who can lead the design and delivery of scalable, data-driven backend systems while effectively managing cross-functional teams and engaging with clients. This role combines technical leadership, project delivery, and people managementideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of code, communication, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Data Science teams to embed AI models and analytical capabilities into core applications.
• Lead end-to-end sprint cycles, including sprint planning, task allocation, daily standups, and retrospectives.
• Track team performance and delivery timelines, using tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana to monitor progress.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients- gathering requirements, clarifying expectations, and presenting deliverables.
• Translate client needs into actionable engineering goals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Manage a team of data scientists and analysts- offering coaching, feedback, and mentorship to support career growth.
• Foster a collaborative team culture that values transparency, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure that the team follows clean coding principles, test-driven development, and proper documentation.
• Conduct and guide peer code reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
• Stay ahead of trends in AI/ML to keep our solutions cutting-edge and future-ready.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in data science, backend development, or related technical leadership roles.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and vision systems is a must. Strong experience with backend technologies (e.g., PyTorch, Numpy, Pandas, Python, REST APIs).
• Exposure to data pipelines, analytics tools, or integrating AI/ML models.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Project management experience (Agile, Scrum).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
