Data Science Engineer

You are a talented Data Science Engineer with expertise in satellite data analytics, thermal imaging, and coding, aiming to drive innovation in the geospatial domain. Your role involves analyzing thermal and optical imagery from both satellites and drones to uncover impactful applications across agriculture, environment, and urban sectors. You will be responsible for analyzing and processing thermal and optical imagery from satellite and drone platforms. Additionally, you will develop data-driven geospatial solutions for various applications such as crop health monitoring, water stress detection, yield prediction, soil moisture estimation, forest fire detection, greenhouse gas detection, urban heat island mapping, and more. In this role, you will design and implement machine learning and deep learning models to extract actionable insights from geospatial datasets. Collaboration with product and engineering teams is essential to build scalable, real-time solutions deployable in operational environments. To qualify for this position, you should have a Masters degree in Data Science, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Data Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of professional or research experience. Strong coding skills in Python, proficiency in libraries like NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and GDAL are required. A solid foundation in remote sensing techniques, image preprocessing, and satellite data analytics, as well as experience in applying ML/DL/computer vision techniques to geospatial imagery, are also essential.,
