Data Science Delivery Lead

As a Data Science Delivery Lead, your role will involve overseeing and managing the delivery of data science projects. You will be responsible for leading high-performing teams, managing client relationships, and delivering innovative solutions that drive business impact. Your key responsibilities will include: - Project Delivery - Lead the execution of data science projects to ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with client objectives. - Take ownership of delivery quality for all projects within your account portfolio to drive long-term success and client renewals. - Implement processes for identifying and managing risks, and mentor project leaders on risk mitigation strategies. - Client Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients to understand their needs, goals, and challenges. - Regularly engage with clients to manage expectations and ensure projects align with business objectives. - Lead Monthly Business Reviews with clients to highlight successes, collect feedback, and improve delivery continuously. - Team Leadership & Development - Build and lead high-performing teams of data scientists and project leaders. - Provide mentorship and coaching to foster a collaborative culture of continuous learning and professional development. - Actively seek opportunities to improve delivery processes and incorporate feedback to enhance team performance. - Business Consulting & Strategy - Engage in strategic conversations with clients to provide innovative solutions addressing business challenges. - Manage financial aspects of project delivery to optimize EBITDA and client satisfaction. - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and business development. Required Skills: Technical Skills (Must-Have) - Proficiency in Project Management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. - Strong foundation in Probability and Statistics for data science applications. - Experience in SQL and Python, including machine learning and data analytics frameworks. - Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and client presentations. Business & Leadership Skills - Strong business acumen to assess the financial impact of project decisions. - Ability to make pragmatic decisions balancing ideal solutions with time constraints. - Effective people management skills, conflict resolution, and communication with teams and clients. - Track record of leading teams, offering mentorship, and promoting innovation and excellence.
