Data Research Executive

• Conduct secondary research to identify potential clients, companies, decision-makers, and market trends relevant to IT services.
• Build and maintain accurate databases of prospects including company details, contact information, industry, geography, and technology stack.
• Perform lead research using LinkedIn, company websites, job portals, directories, and other online sources.
• Validate and clean data to ensure accuracy, relevance, and completeness.
• Support business development and marketing teams with targeted research and lead lists.
• Research new markets, industries, competitors, and technologies as required.
• Prepare research reports, spreadsheets, and summaries based on project requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times.
• Regularly update CRM or internal tracking sheets with researched data.
• Meet daily/weekly research targets and timelines.

Person Specification Qualifications:

• Strong skills in internet research, Google search techniques
• Experience in online data research and data mining
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel / Google Sheets
• Ability to identify decision-makers (CXO, VP, Director, Managers) for B2B IT services
• Good understanding of IT services, software development, and technology domains
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Basic understanding of CRM systems (HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce - any)

Good to Have Skills

• Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator / LinkedIn Research
• Knowledge of lead generation concepts for IT services
• Familiarity with tools like Apollo, Crunchbase, ZoomInfo, Clutch, GoodFirms
• Basic knowledge of email marketing or outbound sales support
• Understanding of international markets (US, UK, Europe, APAC)
• Ability to analyze data and identify patterns or insights
• Basic communication skills to coordinate with sales/BD teams
