Data Analyst DQ/Gov (EDG Steward)

Informatica Enterprise Data Governance (EDG)

This role ensures data is accurate, standardized, and compliant across multiple systems and business domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a

  Data Steward

  to support

  Data Governance

  and

  Data Quality (DQ)

  frameworks.
• Manage and maintain metadata, business glossaries, and data lineage using

  Informatica EDG / Axon / EDC

  .
• Define and enforce

  data quality rules, standards, and metrics

  .
• Collaborate with data owners, SMEs, and technical teams to ensure data consistency and compliance.
  
• Perform

  data profiling, validation, and anomaly detection

  to ensure data accuracy.
• Monitor and report

  data quality KPIs

  , identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with

  enterprise data governance policies

  .
• Support end-to-end data management lifecycle across various systems.
  
• Coordinate with the DQ and MDM teams to align governance strategies with operational data flows.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• 610 years of experience in

  Data Quality, Data Governance, or Data Stewardship

  roles.
• Hands-on experience with

  Informatica EDG

  ,

  Axon

  ,

  EDC

  , or similar governance tools.
• Strong knowledge of

  data management principles, metadata management, and business glossaries

  .
• Experience in

  data profiling and data quality analysis

  .
• Familiarity with

  Informatica IDQ / PowerCenter / MDM

  tools preferred.
• Strong understanding of

  data lineage, cataloging, and data governance frameworks

  .
• Excellent analytical and communication skills with stakeholder management experience.
  
• Ability to work with global teams in a structured, process-driven environment.
  

Good to Have

• Knowledge of

  data privacy and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.)

  .
• Experience working with

  Cloud data governance tools (AWS Glue, Collibra, Alation)

  .
• Certification in

  Informatica Data Governance / Data Management

  is a plus.
