Job Description

The

Data Quality Analyst

will support the development and implementation of

data governance policies, standards, and procedures

to ensure

data quality, compliance, and effective data management

. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to enhance data stewardship and governance practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement
data governance policies, standards, and procedures
.
Collaborate with
data owners and stakeholders
to align data management with business objectives.
Monitor and provide guidance on
data management practices
across the organization.
Facilitate
data governance meetings and workshops
to promote stewardship and accountability.
Create and maintain
documentation
, including data dictionaries, metadata management, and governance processes.
Support implementation and use of
data management tools
to enhance governance capabilities.
Assist in
data visualization and reporting
using tools such as Tableau.

Mandatory Skills :

Strong knowledge of
data management and data governance frameworks
, metadata, and quality management
Data Catalog / Governance tools:
Alation / Collibra
Experience in
data lineage
and reference data practices
Thorough understanding of
SQL & Advanced SQL
Strong
communication and interpersonal skills

Good to Have Skills

Hands-on experience with
IGC, IA, Alation, Bigeye
Certification in data governance (e.g.,
CDMP, DGSP
)
Basic
Python or shell scripting
for automation
ETL/ELT knowledge
Familiarity with
data visualization/reporting tools
(Tableau)
