Data Privacy Specialist

As a highly motivated and experienced Privacy (Senior) Specialist with a passion for technology, you have the opportunity to join the Global Privacy Team at Phenom People in India. Your role will be crucial in implementing the internal privacy program within Phenom. **Key Responsibilities:** - Represent Phenom's Global Privacy in India and the APAC region, with a base in Hyderabad. - Act as the primary contact for all privacy-related matters in the APAC region. - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on privacy issues globally. - Coordinate and support the Global Privacy initiatives. - Conduct proactive research on global privacy regulations. - Develop vendor risk and privacy impact assessments. - Provide guidance to engineering teams on technical aspects of personal data processing. **Qualifications:** - 5+ years of relevant experience. - Strong understanding of privacy principles, with experience in risk & compliance topics being a plus. - Good knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and other global privacy regulations. - Ability to quickly adapt and learn in an interdisciplinary field. - Collaborative skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams positively. - Analytical and conceptual thinking ability. - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. - CIPT or any other CIPP certification is advantageous.
