Job Description

As a Data Privacy Manager/Senior Manager, your role will involve managing privacy projects, driving compliance initiatives, and ensuring adherence to global and regional data protection laws. You will be responsible for leading and managing data privacy and protection programs for global clients, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your key responsibilities will include: - Assessing, designing, and implementing privacy frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with GDPR, PDPL, DIFC, CCPA, and other applicable laws. - Conducting Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA) and Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) for new projects and processes. - Collaborating with stakeholders to embed privacy requirements into business operations. - Handling incident response and breach management in line with global privacy requirements. - Developing and delivering training, awareness sessions, and workshops for clients and internal teams. - Preparing reports and dashboards for senior leadership and client stakeholders. - Staying updated on evolving data protection regulations and recommending necessary policy updates. Additional responsibilities for Senior Managers include: - Leading large-scale privacy transformation programs across multiple clients and geographies. - Acting as a trusted advisor to CXOs and senior stakeholders on privacy strategies and risk mitigation. - Providing technical mentorship and managing a team of consultants and analysts. - Driving innovation in privacy operations, automation, and GRC integration to enhance compliance efficiency. Qualifications required for this role: - Experience: 6+ years for Manager; 9+ years for Senior Manager. - Strong expertise in data privacy, data protection, and regulatory compliance. - Hands-on experience with privacy frameworks, DPIA, PIA, consent management, and cross-border data transfers. - In-depth understanding of regulations such as GDPR, DIFC, ADGM, PDPL, CCPA, and Indian DPDP Act. - Exposure to privacy technologies and GRC platforms is desirable. - Excellent client-facing, stakeholder management, and project leadership skills. - Educational Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. preferred; MBA/legal background is a plus. Certifications that are preferred but not mandatory include CIPT, CIPP/E, CIPP/A, CDPSE, ISO 27701 LA, or equivalent certifications. The job type is full-time and permanent, with onsite work in Gurgaon. Travel to the Middle East on a project basis is required. The compensation is competitive and based on experience and skill set.,
