Data Modeler

As a Data Modeler at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in evolving the infrastructure and deployment pipelines, driving innovation and operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include translating business requirements into logical and physical data models, collaborating with Data Product Managers, testing data models, and optimizing their performance continuously. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement high-quality data models to optimize data access, storage, and analysis, with experience in ER Studio. - Create comprehensive documentation of data models, including entity relationship diagrams and data dictionaries, and obtain sign-off from relevant stakeholders. - Partner with business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate requirements into clear data modeling specifications. - Collaborate with data engineers to translate logical data models into physical data models and monitor and optimize their performance throughout the development lifecycle. Qualifications Required: - Experience in designing and implementing data models, preferably with ER Studio. - Proficiency in creating and maintaining documentation of data models. - Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work with various stakeholders.
