Description
As a Data Migration Specialist at Inoapps, your role will involve delivering end-to-end data migration solutions across various Oracle Cloud offerings, especially ERP and HCM. You will work closely with solution architects to define business transformation strategies and assist customers in developing data migration strategies to support their programs. Key Responsibilities: - Hands-on development of SQL and PL/SQL components for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. - Design and execution of data migration strategies to ensure data integrity and accuracy, including creating migration roadmaps and establishing best practices. - Utilization of Oracle Cloud tools such as FBDI, HDL, APIs, and other Cloud-based ETL solutions for efficient data transfer. - Stakeholder management and communication, providing regular updates, managing expectations, and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle. - Identifying and mitigating potential risks, resolving data-related issues, and managing dependencies. - Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation related to data migration, including data mapping specifications, test plans, and risk assessments. - Validation and reconciliation processes to confirm successful data migration and resolve discrepancies. In addition to the above responsibilities, you will be heavily involved in the adoption of automation technologies and tool kits for data migration at Inoapps. You are expected to have an excellent understanding of the challenges of data migration workstreams in an Oracle environment to provide strong leadership to the migration delivery team. Mandatory Skills & Experience: - 10+ years of experience in data migrations of Oracle ERP/HCM implementations and upgrades. - 3+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud data migration projects. - Strong expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, and ETL processes for Oracle Cloud applications. - Strong leadership and team management skills with abilities to motivate and guide a team in a collaborative environment. - Understanding of data security, governance, and compliance considerations in cloud environments. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and functional teams. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment with periods of high pressure. - Flexibility to support new technologies and evolving data migration approaches. - Good understanding of Oracle ERP and HCM application processes and technical data dictionaries.
