As a Data Entry Operator, your role involves updating and maintaining information on company databases and computer systems. Your responsibilities will include collecting and entering data in databases, ensuring accurate records of valuable company information. It is essential for you to possess data entry skills such as fast typing, attention to detail, and proficiency in spreadsheets and online forms. You will collaborate with a data team and Data Manager, and having previous experience in a similar position will be advantageous. Your primary goal will be to maintain accurate, up-to-date, and usable information in the systems. Key Responsibilities: - Insert customer and account data by inputting text-based and numerical information from source documents within specified time limits - Compile, verify accuracy, and prioritize information to prepare source data for computer entry - Review data for deficiencies or errors, correct any incompatibilities, and ensure output accuracy - Conduct research to obtain further information for incomplete documents - Apply data program techniques and procedures - Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations - Scan documents and print files when necessary - Maintain confidentiality of information - Respond to information queries and access relevant files - Adhere to data integrity and security policies - Ensure proper use of office equipment and address any malfunctions Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in data entry with fast typing speed and keen attention to detail - Familiarity with spreadsheets and online forms - Previous experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar role is preferred Please note that the job type is Full-time and suitable for Freshers.
