DATA ENTRY

As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in gathering, collating, and preparing documents, materials, and information for data entry. Your responsibilities will include conducting research to obtain information for incomplete documents and materials, creating digital documents from paper or dictation, and reviewing all documents and information for accuracy. You will be expected to inform the supervisor of any errors or inconsistencies, capture data into digital databases, and perform regular backups. Additionally, updating and maintaining databases, archives, and filing systems will be part of your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Gather, collate, and prepare documents, materials, and information for data entry. - Conduct research to obtain information for incomplete documents and materials. - Create digital documents from paper or dictation. - Review all documents and information for accuracy and inform the supervisor of any errors or inconsistencies. - Capture data into digital databases and perform regular backups. - Update and maintain databases, archives, and filing systems. Qualifications Required: - Graduate in any stream. - Excellent typing abilities. - Excellent time management and multitasking abilities. - Proficiency in data capturing and office management software such as MS Office, especially MS Excel. - The ability to manage and process high volumes of data accurately. - Good understanding of databases and digital and paper filing systems.
