Job Summary

detail-oriented Data Entry Operator & Medical Coder

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify patient data in EHR and other databases accurately.
  • Scan and digitize medical records for secure storage.
  • Assign appropriate medical codes (diagnoses, procedures, services).
  • Review and extract relevant information from patient medical records.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare and data privacy regulations.
  • Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals for coding clarification.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all patient data.
  • Prepare reports and support audits when required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in

    Life Sciences, Paramedical, Nursing, or any related field

    .

  • Certification or internship in medical coding

    preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical data entry or backend operations is desirable.
  • Strong understanding of

    medical terminology and coding systems

    (ICD, CPT).
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
  • Familiarity with

    HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations

  • Proficiency in

    MS Office, Excel, and HIMS software
