Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Operator & Medical Coder to join our Oncology team. The candidate will be responsible for accurate medical data entry, coding diagnoses and procedures, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards. This role requires precision, confidentiality, and familiarity with medical documentation. Key Responsibilities Enter, update, and verify patient data in EHR and other databases accurately. Scan and digitize medical records for secure storage. Assign appropriate medical codes (diagnoses, procedures, services). Review and extract relevant information from patient medical records. Ensure compliance with healthcare and data privacy regulations. Collaborate with doctors and healthcare professionals for coding clarification. Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all patient data. Prepare reports and support audits when required. Qualifications & Skills Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Paramedical, Nursing, or any related field . Certification or internship in medical coding preferred. Prior experience in medical data entry or backend operations is desirable. Strong understanding of medical terminology and coding systems (ICD, CPT). Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare regulations . Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and HIMS software . Ability to work independently and meet timelines.
