Role Overview: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Engineer to join our Data Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have 12 years of hands-on experience and must possess strong Python coding skills , solid proficiency in SQL , and working knowledge of ETL pipeline development . This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to real-world data solutions that support business insights and analytics across the organization. Experience : 1 - 2 Years Location: Bangalore Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable ETL data pipelines . Write efficient, clean, and well-documented Python scripts for data transformation and automation. Develop and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading. Assist in ingesting data from various internal and external sources into centralized storage. Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and resolve issues proactively. Work closely with data analysts, data scientists, and engineers to ensure high-quality, consistent data delivery. Collaborate on projects involving cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP). Maintain documentation for data workflows and technical implementations. Required Skills: Python Coding for data manipulation, transformation, and automation SQL for querying, aggregations, joins, and performance tuning ETL Pipeline Development hands-on experience with building and maintaining data pipelines Exposure to workflow orchestration tools like Airflow , Prefect , or Luigi Familiarity with cloud data services (e.g., AWS S3, Redshift, Azure Data Lake) Understanding of data modeling , data integration , and CI/CD practices Version control using Git Bachelors Degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related field .
