Data Engineer – Azure & Modern Data Stack

Job Summary

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using
Azure Data Factory
and
Databricks
.
Implement and automate
ADF pipeline deployments
via
Azure DevOps
CI/CD pipelines.
Develop data processing scripts using
Python
and orchestrate workflows using
Apache Airflow
.
Work with structured and semi-structured data in
PostgreSQL
and other data platforms.
Collaborate with data analysts, BI engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data quality and usability.

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
and
Azure DevOps
for CI/CD deployments.
Proficient in
Python
for data manipulation and transformation tasks.
Experience with
Apache Airflow
for workflow orchestration.
Solid knowledge of
Databricks
for data engineering and transformation tasks.
Strong understanding of
data modeling
concepts – star/snowflake schema, normalization, etc.
Good knowledge of
PostgreSQL
or other relational databases.
Familiarity with Azure services (e.g., Data Lake, Key Vault, Storage Accounts).

Nice to Have

Experience working with Delta Lake or Spark-based architectures.
Exposure to monitoring and performance tuning of data pipelines.
