Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows
• Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources (APIs, databases, cloud storage)
• Build and manage data warehouse/lake solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Engineers to ensure data quality and accessibility
• Implement data validation, monitoring, and governance processes
• Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency
• Contribute to the architecture of the overall data platform and analytics infrastructure
• Stay current with industry trends in big data technologies, tools, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field
• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Scala)
• Experience with ETL tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, dbt, Talend)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and data storage solutions
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with platforms like Redshift, BigQuery, or Snowflake
• Understanding of data modeling, database design, and data governance best practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must have the legal right to work in Singapore
