Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled

Data Engineer

with expertise in

Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Synapse Analytics

to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building scalable data solutions, integrating multiple data sources, and ensuring data quality, governance, and security within the Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Integrate data from diverse sources including Azure SQL Database, Data Lake, Blob Storage, and REST APIs.
  • Design and implement scalable data models and data marts within Microsoft Fabric.
  • Build, deploy, and manage dataflows and notebooks in Fabric.
  • Develop robust ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured datasets.
  • Implement and maintain data governance, monitoring, and security controls across Azure data platforms.
  • Utilize GitHub or Azure DevOps for source control and CI/CD of Fabric assets.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, analysts, and data scientists to deliver efficient, high-quality data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering roles with focus on Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure SQL Database, Data Lake, Blob Storage, and REST API integrations.
  • Proficiency in designing data models, marts, and scalable architectures.
  • Strong SQL and data transformation skills.
  • Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security frameworks in Azure.
  • Experience with GitHub/Azure DevOps for CI/CD and version control.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Power BI integration with Fabric.
  • Exposure to Python or PySpark for advanced data transformation.
  • Microsoft certifications (DP-203, DP-500, or Fabric-related certifications).
