We are a team of expert business analysts, Data Architects, and software engineers, spread across multiple locations around the globe, driving the Enterprise Data Governance to enable to manage Data as an asset within Swiss Re.

We work with our data experts, data owners and data consumers and providethem withwell-governed data whichhelpsto buildLogical& Analytical Data Model for our Data Scientists to prepare data models and business insights.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Palantir Foundry Developer to join our data engineering and governance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development and hands-onexpertisein building applications, workflows, and data pipelines on the Palantir Foundry platform. This role involves close collaboration with business and data teams to deliver scalable data solutions and workflow automation.

• Design, develop, andmaintainFoundry-based applications, workflows, and data pipelinesusing Workshop, Code Repositories, and Contour.

• Performbackend developmentusingPySpark,Pythonand SQLto support data processing, transformation, and integration.

• ImplementETL frameworks, ensuring data quality, lineage, and governance compliance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into Foundry solutions.

• Optimizeperformance, manage versioning, and ensure best practices inCI/CD and source control (Git)

• Developunit tests usingPytestandfollowbest coding practices.

About You

• You have a bachelor's degree in information management, computer science

• 3+ years of experience infrontenddevelopmentusingReactandTypeScript.

• Strong knowledge ofJavaScript (ES6+),HTML5, andCSS3.

• Experience working withGraphQLorREST APIs.

• Familiarity withPalantir Foundry,Ontology SDK, or other large-scale data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, etc.)

• Understanding ofstate management(Redux,Zustand, or similar).

• Strong focus onUI/UX, accessibility, and responsive design.

• Experience withGit, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows

• ProficiencyinJavaScript,Python, SQL, andobject-oriented programmingfor backend data processing and service development.

• Hands-on experience withdata pipelines, ETL design, anddata governance / lineage implementation.

• Hands-on experience withPytestfor testing.

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Over5years of working experience asbackend developer

• Over4years of working experienceas UI developer using TypeScript

• Experience with Data Governance implementation is a Plus

Must Have

• Hands on withPySpark,Python,Pytestand UI developmentusing Reactand TypeScript

• Familiar with Git, CI/CD

• Familiar withJavaScript (ES6+),HTML5, andCSS3

Good to Have

• Experience with Data Governance implementation

• Hands-on experience with PalantirFoundry.

• Experience buildinglow-code/no-code interfacesordata visualization tools.

• Familiarity withBlueprint.js,Material UI, orPalantir's internalcomponentlibraries.
