Data Engineer (Azure)

As a Senior Associate in the Data, Analytics & Specialist Managed Service Tower at PwC, with 6 to 10 years of experience, you will be part of a team of problem solvers addressing complex business issues from strategy to execution. As a Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, you are required to have a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in building advanced Data warehousing solutions on leading cloud platforms, along with 3-5 years of Operate/Managed Services/Production Support Experience. Your responsibilities will include designing scalable and secure data structures, developing data pipelines for downstream consumption, and implementing ETL processes using tools like Informatica, Talend, SSIS, AWS, Azure, Spark, SQL, and Python. Experience with data analytics tools, data governance solutions, ITIL processes, and strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for this role. Knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Apache Spark is also required. Additionally, experience in data validation, cleansing, security, and privacy measures, as well as SQL querying, data governance, and performance tuning are essential. Nice to have qualifications for this role include Azure certification.
