Job Description

As a Data Engineer at Optimum Data Analytics, your role will involve leveraging your expertise in Azure cloud services to drive data transformation, modeling, ingestion, and integration. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Utilizing tools such as Data Warehousing, Data Lake, Azure Cloud Services, and Azure DevOps for efficient data management. - Implementing ETL processes using SSIS, ADF, Synapse, SQL Server, and Azure SQL to ensure seamless data flow. - Applying your strong SQL skills to develop data models, optimize queries, and enhance performance. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement event-driven architecture and data APIs. - Ensuring data governance, lineage, security, and privacy best practices are adhered to throughout the data lifecycle. To excel in this role, you must meet the following qualifications: - Possess 5-8 years of experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud services. - Hold a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Demonstrate hands-on proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Storage. - Have experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines such as Azure DevOps. - Exhibit strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills to effectively manage multiple tasks independently.
