Data Engineer-Azure Databricks

We re looking for a passionate Data Engineer to:
design, model, develop, and improve data pipelines and data products apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing user needs and developing new features to automated testing and deployment take ownership and drive deliveries within a supportive team environment be comfortable within a geographically spread, fast-moving Agile team ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions build observability into our solutions to monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues continuously up-skill, learn new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind work with Databricks/Delta Lake, Python, ADLS ideally 8+ years of experience in designing/developing data analytics and data warehouse solutions strong experience with Azure stack and in particular Azure Databricks and Delta Lake, working with large Data Lake solution with multi-format data good understanding on Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 proficient Python & T-SQL coding experience, in particular developing Spark jobs experience of creating and maintaining data products, including modelling good understanding of engineering practices and software development lifecycle experience working in enterprise software engineering environment including Git (Gitlab) nice to have: knowledge in Kafka data streaming on Azure UBS is the world s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
