Job Description

Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and optimize
data pipelines
using
PySpark
and distributed data frameworks.
Work extensively with
AWS cloud services
to deliver scalable and secure data solutions.
Develop and manage
data warehouses
on
Snowflake
.
Implement real-time data streaming and messaging solutions using
Kafka
.
Orchestrate complex workflows and pipelines using
Airflow
.
Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making.
Ensure data quality, security, and compliance standards are met.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong expertise in
Data Engineering
with hands-on experience in:

AWS
(S3, Glue, EMR, Redshift, Lambda, etc.)
Snowflake
Apache Kafka
PySpark
Airflow

Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and transformation.
Experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and performance tuning.
Strong understanding of scalable, cloud-native architectures.
Problem-solving skills with ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps for data engineering.
Exposure to containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
