Data Engineer / ADF Developer

Role Overview: As a Data Engineer / Azure Data Factory (ADF) Developer at Qodequay Technologies Pvt. Ltd., you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and integration workflows using your expertise in Azure Data Services. Your role will involve collaborating with data, analytics, and cloud teams to deliver robust and efficient data solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF). - Integrate data from multiple sources into Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Synapse Analytics, or similar platforms. - Build and optimize data models and data flows for business intelligence and analytics use cases. - Develop robust monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks for data pipelines. - Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and design optimal data solutions. - Perform data wrangling, data cleansing, and transformation for structured and semi-structured datasets. - Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices within Azure environments. - Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and reliability of data solutions. - Document technical solutions, data flows, and design decisions for maintainability. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 5 years of professional experience in Data Engineering, ETL Development, or ADF Development. - Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and related Azure services. - Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes using ADF pipelines and Data Flows. - Good working knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, and database concepts. - Strong understanding of data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema) and data warehousing concepts. - Familiarity with Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, or other big data solutions. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
