Data Conversion Engineer

As a Senior Data Conversion Specialist at Kriyadocs, you will be joining our cutting-edge development team with a meticulous approach to work and a commitment to delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve any issues that may arise. **Roles And Responsibilities:** - Meeting the daily benchmarks - Handling internal and external escalations/complaints effectively - Maintaining project-related records accurately - Communicating product errors with detailed information and suggestions for improvement - Utilizing appropriate tools to ensure the quality of deliveries - Submitting final files to client-specific platforms - Adhering to Client Service Level Agreements (SLA) - Testing, evaluating, and onboarding freelancers/Vendors - Understanding client requirements, creating instruction documents, and providing input for conversion documents and samples - Analyzing customer requirements, creating tool requirements, and documenting for automation - Working individually or in a team to meet tight deadlines **Skills Required:** - Strong knowledge in XML - Hands-on experience in handling both book and journal XML - Proficiency in analyzing DTD, MathML, and creating scripts using XML editors like Epsilon, XML Exchanger, Oxygen XML, Notepad++, etc. - Understanding of digital technologies such as XPath, XSLT, Schema, and ePub - Familiarity with third-party deliverables like PubMed, PMC, Ingenta, HighWire, Atypon, and Crossref - Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills - Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn **Eligibility Criteria:** - **Role:** Senior Data Conversion Specialist - **Location:** Chennai - **Experience:** 5+ years of related experience - **Qualification:** Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
