As a Data Centre Toolsets Analyst at Barclays, you will be responsible for supporting the successful delivery of Location Strategy projects to plan, budget, agreed quality, and governance standards. You will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence to revolutionize digital offerings and ensure unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Providing technical support for the service management function to resolve more complex issues for a specific client or group of clients - Developing the support model and service offering to enhance service to customers and stakeholders - Executing preventative maintenance tasks on hardware and software and utilizing monitoring tools/metrics to identify, prevent, and address potential issues for optimal performance - Maintaining a knowledge base with detailed documentation of resolved cases for future reference, self-service opportunities, and knowledge sharing - Analyzing system logs, error messages, and user reports to identify root causes of hardware, software, and network issues and providing resolutions - Implementing automation, monitoring enhancements, capacity management, resiliency, business continuity management, front office specific support, and stakeholder management - Identifying and remediating potential service impacting risks and issues through appropriate processes - Proactively assessing support activities, implementing automations for stability and efficiency, and tuning monitoring tools, thresholds, and alerting **Qualifications Required:** - Coding experiences in C# or Python - Proficiency in SQL - Familiarity with Windows Server and application management - Change, Problem, and Incident understanding - Ability to use initiative and be pro-active The purpose of this role is to effectively monitor and maintain the bank's critical technology infrastructure, resolving complex technical issues while minimizing disruption to operations.
