About the Role : Shift Lead
Role Objective:
- Having      knowledge about operation and maintenance at data center and its critical      equipments such asTransformer DRY & OIL type, RMU, VCB, ACB, D.G Set, PDU,      Battery Banks, UPS and all other switchgears etc.
- Commissioning,      maintenance and troubleshooting of HT & LT system, APFC PANELs for power factor      correction. Protective Relays likes O/C, E/F, and O/V, U/V with all      safety interlocks.
- Having      knowledge in HVAC system water cooled technology of Chiller- 500TR-1000TR, Cooling tower,      Primary Pumps, Secondary Pumps & Condenser Pumps, PAC (precision air      conditioning), CRAH Units (UP to 50 TR), AHU, FCU, CSU, Air washer,      Dehumidifier’s, VRF & split AC Units.
- Managing      & Monitoring Firefighting system–FM200, Novec 1230, Smoke Detectors,      Fire Control Panel, RI, handhold fire extinguisher cylinder, Hydrant &      Sprinkler system.
- Monitoring      & maintaining IBMS System- Power, Cooling, CPM, WLD, VESDA, Rodent Repellant System, Gas      Suppression system, CCTV, ACS (Access Control System), PAS (Public Address      System).
- Plumbing      W.T.P.(MGF,      ACF, Softeners and R.O. Plant- 2*30 KL), STP.
- Monitoring- &      Maintainingof PUE, WUE & CUE.
- Planning      for new equipment’s installation.
- Overall      supervision of Building maintenance work and handling all      complaints-related issue.
- Maintaining      all files and formats Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Annually Reports &      presenting to management.
- 100      % preventive maintenance of all engineering equipment’s to minimize      breakdowns & reduction in R & M cost & Coordination with      vendors to rectify the fault as per SLA.
- Preparing      root cause analysis for regular breakdown.
- Internal      Audit and verification of sites & ensuring that all certificates of      compliance are maintained and up to date in accordance with relevant      legislation
- To      ensure cost optimization-Track & review monthly cost of operation.      Resource optimization.
- Ensure      billable space optimization, Ensure billing accuracy to be achieved to      100%
- To      ensure DC hosting renewals are happening well in time
- Service      Delivery-100% uptime of DC, Uptime and availability of AHU, UPS, Power and      Security systems. 100%
- Service      Delivery: customer-100% service availability
- Transition-New      customer provisioning withing project plan-100% (Track OB- Invoice cycle      management)
- Customer      relationship-Ensure communication to customer on relevant issues, meeting      customers as needed by business & for service delivery . 100%
- Internal      projects-Site specific internal infra new project management,
- Ensure      all PSS and projects plans are being prepared and shared with customer on      time .
- Ensure      Customer Audits-Audit compliance are 100% success and meets their      requirements
- Ensure      all business teams are getting support-Assist/support business (customer      visits & RFP response), Presales and Product team, 100%
- Process      Compliance-Periodic maintenance of DC components as per BCP Ensure      updation and maintenance of all records and reports as per process guide      lines 100%
- Ensure      timely delivery and sharing of MIS-Monthly ,DCCP with management and      review if required by management
- Ensure      SLA Maintenance - Incident & Problem management Ensure calls are      getting attended & SLA met Ensuring proactive and timely support to      reduce calls month on Month basis (Zero TAC for Sify Infrastructure      related problem). 100%
- Ensure      process Upgrade/improvement-Identification of need for process improvement      and implementation. Regular process review, act upon internal audit      findings.
- Ensure      process Compliance-Adhering to ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO 20000 standards,      PCIDSS ISO 45K etc
- Ensure      vendor management-Contract utilization & review are being carried out      regularly
- Ensure      knowledge enhancement (Technical as well as Soft skill)for self and team      members Periodic training within the team. Set directions for training      criteria for each associate
- Mentoring-Periodic      team meeting, empower and motivate team.
- Succession      Planning-Succession planning for key associates
- Employee      Development-Certification Self & team members
