Job Description

Hardware Knowledge:

Understanding of servers, networking equipment, and storage devices.

Networking:

Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Basic understanding of firewalls, routers, and switches.

Operating Systems:

Proficiency with various operating systems, particularly Linux and Windows Server.
Basic scripting skills (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).

Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM):

Knowledge of DCIM tools for monitoring and managing data center resources.
L1 infrastructure Monitoring through OpenText OBM, Sitescope, Orion SolarWinds etc.

Cloud Infrastructure Support:

Providing Level 1 support, handling the initial point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance.
Escalate complex issues to higher level support or specialized teams as necessary.
Monitor cloud environments and services for availability, performance, and security.
Knowledge of JIRA and Confluence.
Basic knowledge on GitHub

Security:

Awareness of physical and network security practices.
Understanding of access control systems and security protocols.

Batch Monitoring and Reporting:

Knowledge on TWS/DWC Batch Monitoring.

Basic Knowledge on MFT Operations and scheduled reporting.
