Data Architect

As a Data Architect specializing in Commercial Life Sciences, you should have a minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in this field, with a dedicated focus of at least 5 years. Your expertise should encompass various domains within life sciences commercial data, including sales data (e.g., IQVIA DDD, Xponent), claims and prescription data (e.g., Symphony, Komodo), marketing performance data, and customer master and affiliation data (HCP/HCO). Your proficiency should extend to areas such as CRM/Veeva/Salesforce integrations, AWS cloud-native tools, and the ability to design cloud-first architectures effectively. You should be well-versed in different data modeling techniques like relational, dimensional, and data vault, and have experience in constructing modern data platforms utilizing both batch and streaming data pipelines. A strong understanding of data privacy and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA and GxP, is essential for this role. Familiarity with data governance tools like Collibra and Alation would be advantageous. Additionally, experience in data platform modernization and data product design specific to life sciences is highly desirable. Your exposure to tools like Snowflake, dbt, Tableau, Power BI, or Databricks on AWS will be beneficial in fulfilling the responsibilities of this role. Prior consulting experience is preferred, and possessing AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Data Analytics Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect would be an added advantage.,
