We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data Architect to join our Supply Chain team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 8 years of experience in data design/architecture, with a strong willingness to continue learning.
Roles and Responsibility
- Design and develop conceptual and logical data models to support business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data requirements.
- Develop and maintain data governance frameworks and standards.
- Ensure data architecture aligns with enterprise data principles and standards.
- Provide architectural leadership and guidance to junior architects and data professionals.
- Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
Job Requirements
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in data design/architecture.
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, profiling, and quality analysis.
- Experience with SQL Server, SQL query language, and E/R Studio data modeling tool.
- Effective planning, communication, collaboration, and persuasion skills.
- Expert written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with SharePoint team sites for collaboration.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of TOGAF (The Open Group Architectural Framework) and DAMA (Data Management Association) DMBoK (Data Management Body Of Knowledge) v.2 is desirable.
- Experience with MDM tools such as Precisely Enter Works and cataloging tools like Collibra.
- Understanding of large data store technologies (Data Lakes, Data Warehouse, Data Hubs, etc.).
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, Python, API concepts, and integration architecture.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority and effectively interact with diverse user communities.
- Background in data, analytics, systems, and tools; good working knowledge of SAP database technologies (ERP, HANA, etc.) and related data extraction tools.
