Data & Analytics Manager

You are a skilled and passionate Manager in Data Engineering/Analytics responsible for leading a portfolio of client accounts and technical delivery projects. In this role, you will oversee departmental performance, resource utilization, and client satisfaction across various data engineering engagements. Your responsibilities include providing technical oversight, people leadership, and consulting expertise to drive impactful data platform solutions for clients. Key Responsibilities: - Support end-to-end delivery of data engineering projects (Databricks, Snowflake) and data platforms, pipelines, ensuring they meet commercial, quality, and timing goals. - Oversee AMS processes to ensure all SLAs and KPIs are met or exceeded. - Ensure governance best practices are followed in service delivery and team leadership. - Shape proposals and accelerators in data engineering, such as reusable ingestion frameworks and ELT templates. - Act as a strategic partner to clients, advising on data platform strategy, architecture, and modernization roadmaps. - Cultivate relationships with data and technology leaders, understanding their strategic data challenges. - Lead, mentor, and grow a team of data engineers, ensuring continuous professional development and technical excellence. - Set portfolio-wide KPIs and monitor timing, cost, and quality objectives. - Proactively resolve escalations before they affect outcomes. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors or Masters in a related technical field. - Minimum 10 years of experience as a Manager, Senior Data Consultant, or Senior Data Engineer. - Knowledge of ITIL and AMS delivery processes. - Proven experience in team management and people leadership. - Excellent stakeholder and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Solid understanding of data warehousing, ETL, and data modeling principles. - Understanding of data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
