You will oversee the end-to-end delivery of Data & Analytics products and services, including data
pipelines, Data Marts/MIOs, dashboards, and analytics. This involves coordinating with Global
D&A and Functional leads, leveraging existing capabilities, and creating new, sustainable data
products. Your goal is to develop D&A capabilities that are scalable, increase efficiency, drive new
revenues, provide competitive advantages, and support business teams in making informed and
faster decisions.
Accountabilities
- Engage with business stakeholders to capture and understand D&A demand, translating business requirements into clear user stories and outcomes for the D&A team.
- Challenge the status quo to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions.
- Support business transformation from legacy D&A solutions to automated Descriptive, Predictive, and Prescriptive decision-support solutions.
- Act as Single Point of Contact for application architecture and the tactical operationalization across Commercial solutions, driving business definitions ownership and data lineage in our Data Catalog.
- Serve as the business customers voice to the development team/squads, translating technical details into business language and vice versa. Lead the daily development team stand-up.
- Develop scope, define backlog items, and manage the workload across the Agile development team.
- Address product-related issues, make decisions, and perform trade-off analysis to maintain alignment with business deliverable commitments.
- Understand end-to-end data management interactions and dependencies across complex data pipelines and models, assessing their impact on D&A products.
- Develop a scalable delivery team to accelerate the go-to-market of our D&A services.
- Educate clients on the D&A and IT business model, value, and value proposition.
- Coordinate with Commercial Leads and Chapter Leads to optimize team composition within the Commercial squad.
Experience / Previous jobs required for the job
- Proven track record in successful managing D&A and/or Commercial delivery teams.
- Overall 3 years of D&A management experience, at least 3 years of Commercial domain expertise and understands /have experience with the related Commercial solutions and DW like BW, SFDC, etc.
- Experience leading teams in an agile matrix organization.
- Working with different levels of the organization (business and IT)
- Experience with Business Analyst methodology, gathering Business Requirements, defining personas, mapping information required.
Critical knowledge and education required for the job
- Bachelor s or Master s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related D&A field, with 3-8 years of relevant experience in D&A and Commercial areas.
- Experience with cloud-based ELT, big data tools, infrastructure, analytics, and visualization tools like Qlik and PowerBI.
- Experience running Scrum/Agile development practices, ideally as a product owner or scrum master.
- Knowledge of Business Process Management.
Experiences to be gained in the job:
- Simplifying complex D&A issues with clear communication towards business stakeholders.
- Developing Smart Mart/Data Modeling and intuitive D&A solutions to ensure our Global Data Model always meets standards: Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable (FAIR).
- Managing supplier resources and handling escalations as needed.
- Managing expectations and partnerships of D&A within Global and Regions.
