Data Analyst

Job Description: As a Data Analyst in the chemical manufacturing industry based in Ahmedabad, you will be crucial in supporting data-driven decision-making processes. Your primary responsibilities will include analyzing various data sets related to production, raw materials, quality, and energy usage. Through the use of tools like Power BI, Excel, and SQL, you will develop insightful dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators and identify areas for process optimization. Your role will also involve conducting root cause analysis on process deviations, working with SCADA/DCS and ERP data to extract actionable insights, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency. It is essential to have a strong background in Excel (including VBA and Power Query), SQL, and Power BI/Tableau, along with knowledge of manufacturing systems such as SCADA/DCS. In addition to technical skills, you should possess expertise in data cleaning, process control, and managing large datasets. An analytical mindset, coupled with a deep understanding of chemical processes, will be instrumental in fulfilling the requirements of this role. Effective communication skills and a keen attention to detail are also key attributes for success in this position. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. The ideal candidate for this position would be a male candidate with at least 4-6 years of relevant experience in data analysis within the chemical manufacturing industry.
