Data Analyst - Power BI

As a Power BI Analyst at Hitachi Energy, you will be a part of the Operation Center, India (INOPC-PGTR) and a member of the PGTR Quality & Operations Team. Your role will involve contributing to the development of a global operational analytics environment to enhance PGTR's operational and quality performance. You will collaborate with various teams to optimize key activities and resources, focusing on developing the PGTR QO PowerBI workspace, creating adhoc analytics, reports, and dashboards using Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint. Your responsibilities will include supporting the PGTR QO Management in administering the BU-QOs PowerBI workspace, building Analysis Services reporting models, developing visual reports and KPI scorecards, implementing row-level security and DAX queries in Power BI desktop, as well as creating tabular and multidimensional models. You will also extract and analyze data from different sources, perform What/IF and scenario analyses, and maintain reports and dashboards for the Transformers Quality & Operations Department. Furthermore, you will be involved in training stakeholders on report and dashboard usage, ensuring data quality and completeness, supporting data cleansing efforts, and developing the BU QOs Reporting & Analytics Team Space on Sharepoint. You will maintain an up-to-date online documents library and adhere to Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity. To excel in this role, you should have expertise in building visualizations in Power BI, DAX queries, and functions, with a preference for DA-100 certification. Experience with SAP/S4 HANA data handling, connecting various data sources in Power BI, and advanced data manipulation skills are essential. Familiarity with secondary tools like Microsoft Azure, SQL data warehouse, SSAS, Visual Studio, and Power Apps is beneficial. Proficiency in MS Office tools, understanding of organizational structures, operational KPIs, and flexibility across timezones are desired qualities. Strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written, are necessary for this position.,
