About The Role

Location: PAN India, Fully RemoteRuder Finn India is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data Analyst (Data Analyst III) to join its award-winning Emerging Technology & Analytics team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about data, analytics, and storytelling to contribute to high-impact projects across various sectors including consumer, technology, and healthcare. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Chief Technology Officer and collaborate with multiple account teams to support new business initiatives and client campaigns. Your insights will influence strategic decision-making and help shape the future direction of client initiatives, making this a pivotal role for those who thrive on solving complex data challenges and translating them into clear, actionable insights.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in business analytics, computer science, marketing, psychology, advertising, or a related field. A minimum of four years of experience in a data or research analyst role within an agency or in-house setting is required. Expertise in developing complex Boolean queries and proficiency with media and data analytics tools such as Cision, Brandwatch, Rival IQ, Meltwater, Signal AI, among others, are essential. Candidates should demonstrate advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio, complemented by knowledge of SQL. Familiarity with statistical programming languages such as Python, R, or AWS is highly desirable, especially for those with experience in data modeling, custom model development, and working with large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT or Bard. Strong problem-solving abilities, creative thinking, and excellent communication skills in English are critical to success in this role.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with the global Emerging Technology & Analytics team on research projects related to new business and client mandates. This includes sourcing, analyzing, and reporting data insights aligned with specific business objectives. Key responsibilities encompass delivering comprehensive market and audience intelligence, such as social and digital landscape analysis, sentiment analysis, keyword research, search performance, and competitor analysis, including share of voice and message pull-through. The analyst will also be tasked with building measurement frameworks, setting up advanced searches, and creating dashboards using Boolean queries. Additionally, developing client-facing insights and reports that effectively communicate complex data findings in a clear and actionable manner is a core aspect of the role. The candidate will continuously refine analytical processes, innovate with new tools and techniques, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, accurate results within tight deadlines.
