You will be assessed on critical skills relevant for success in this role, including experience with Basel IV regulatory changes, risk reporting & management, accounting & balance sheet understanding, as well as hands-on experience in reconciliation (risk & finance) and risk-weighted asset calculation. In-depth product knowledge will be an added advantage. To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge in Basel IV regulatory requirements/changes, regulatory reporting, accounting knowledge, experience in reconciliation, investment banking & corporate banking knowledge, and expert-level hands-on experience in analyzing poor quality data and understanding data lineage. Highly valued skills may include knowledge/experience in posting, reviewing accounting entries for complex derivative trade structures, technical knowledge in SQL, Macro, preparing BRD for projects, and finance accounting knowledge (balance sheet/P&L reconciliation). Your responsibilities will include investigating and analyzing data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification, executing data cleansing and transformation tasks, designing and building data pipelines, developing and applying advanced analytical techniques, and documenting data quality findings and recommendations for improvement. As an Analyst at Barclays, you are expected to perform activities in a timely manner and to a high standard consistently, driving continuous improvement. You will require in-depth technical knowledge and experience in your assigned area of expertise, lead and supervise a team, guide and support professional development, allocate work requirements, and coordinate team resources.
