We are seeking a reliable and experienced Ambulance Driver to join our medical response team. As an ambulance driver, you will play a critical role in providing timely transportation for patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical facilities, while adhering to all traffic and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Operate the ambulance vehicle in a safe and efficient manner during emergency and non-emergency situations. Respond quickly to emergency call-outs, ensuring timely arrival at the scene and transport to healthcare facilities. Assist paramedics and other medical staff with the safe loading and unloading of patients, using stretchers or wheelchairs as needed. Maintain communication with the dispatch team to provide status updates and follow route instructions. Monitor the condition of the ambulance, ensuring it is stocked with necessary medical equipment and supplies, as well as keeping it clean and well-maintained. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal road safety laws, regulations, and guidelines. Provide compassionate care and reassurance to patients during transport. Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any issues or repairs needed. Complete necessary documentation related to patient transport and vehicle usage. Working Conditions: Ability to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Exposure to various weather conditions and environments. Occasional exposure to high-stress emergency situations
