Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Dance Teacher located in Ghaziabad. The Dance Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering dance lessons, creating lesson plans, evaluating student performance. Day-to-day tasks include instructing students in various dance styles, preparing students for performances, and fostering an appreciation for dance in students. The Dance Teacher will also participate in school events and collaborate with other faculty members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Dance / Performing Arts.
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or choreography experience in a school or training academy.
• Command over different dance styles and ability to manage students with varying skill levels.
• Excellent classroom management, energy, and creativity.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for mentoring and nurturing talent.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons for students across age groups (primary to senior wing).
• Teach various dance forms (Western, Indian classical or semi-classical, or contemporary).
• Prepare students for

  school performances, annual functions, competitions, and cultural showcases

• Choreograph routines that align with school events and values.
• Support students’ physical development and expression through movement.
• Work collaboratively with music, drama, and PE departments to create interdisciplinary performances.
