Farm Type: Fully Automatic Pure Gir Cow Dairy Farm (Milking Machine, Chiller, Farm-to-Home Delivery)

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and honest Farm Manager who can take full responsibility for dairy operations, including cow management, milking, feeding, cleaning, and machinery operation. The candidate must also have experience in identifying, evaluating, and purchasing Gir cows — understanding breed quality, milk capacity, and health.

Key Responsibilities:

Dairy Farm Operations

• Handle all daily activities — feeding, milking, cleaning, and cow health.
• Operate automatic milking, cooling, and feeding systems.
• Maintain hygiene and ensure high-quality A2 milk production.
• Record daily milk yield, feed schedule, and maintenance logs.
• Supervise helpers (if any) and report to the farm owner.

Cow Purchase and Breeding

• Assist in buying Gir cows — verify breed purity, milk yield, udder health, and behavior.
• Inspect farms or markets before purchase and negotiate fair prices.
• Keep records of purchase details and cow performance.
• Coordinate transport, vaccination, and insurance for new cows.
• Work with local breeders and livestock markets in Anand, Saurashtra, and Gir region.

General Farm Management

• Maintain clean, safe, and well-ventilated sheds.
• Monitor water, fodder, and electricity usage efficiently.
• Coordinate with veterinary doctors for treatment and breeding.
• Ensure timely farm-to-home milk delivery.

Skills and Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in dairy farm operations.
• Practical knowledge of Gir cow identification and selection.
• Ability to negotiate and handle livestock purchases confidently.
• Familiar with milking machines, chiller units, and feed mixing systems.
• Honest, responsible, and hardworking.
• Willing to live on the farm (Accommodation and food provided).
• Basic record-keeping or smartphone use preferred.
