D65 - Product Engineer Senior Product Engineer - Mechanical Engine Application - Creo Skills

Key Responsibilities

• Supports Product development by applying processes such as NPD, Design Review, Virtual Review, and tools such as DFMEA, DVP & R, DFM, DFA, tolerance stack-up etc.
• Conducts cross-functional reviews for components by self, seeks guidance from experts and program team members as required.
• 3D CAD modelling for major casting components and other engine components like plumbing, sheet metal brackets etc.
• Creating and checking 2D drawings. Apply GD&T and design for Manufacturing/service/assembly.
• Develop engineering releases as per component requirement for respective design phase.
• Support on the engine build with proposed BOM (Review BOM and verify it during engine build).
• Support part movement during the engine builds, validation, testing etc.
• Capable to handle ETLA (Engine Top Level Assembly) and Product tailoring components / system TLA (Top Level Assembly).
• Support in field issue resolution using problem solving tools such as 8D, RCA
  

Skills And Experience Required

• Experience Range - 4 to 5 Years
• Qualification - B.E./BTech or MTech in Mechanical or Automobile
• Background of working in CREO 7.0 on engine components like plumbing, sheet metal parts, casting etc.
• Know-how of IC engine, subsystems & component parts is preferred.
• Knowledge of product lifecycle & PLM tools.
• Knowledge of Manufacturing processes and Design for Assembly.
• MCM (Master CAD Model) knowledge is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of engine component's function is preferred.
• CAD Proficiency: Pro/E Creo. Expected Skill Level Intermediate
