Role & responsibilities 3D design & modelling in product development projects. Creating and developing 2D component requirements and specifications, and other technical design documents as per standards and processes. Creating BOM for the assembly and manufacturing levels with specifications. Identify and solve design and product manufacturing / fabrication related issues Fits & tolerance calculations for components & Sub-assemblies. Comply with product development process, ECN and design standards Work closely with manufacturing engineering to move products from design to manufacturing. Participate in project reviews to ensure that project deliverables are met. Preferred candidate profile B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech - Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Preferred to have specialization with CAD / CAM (or) Engineering Design 3 -5 years of experience in handling design & product developments in any reputed Manufacturing Organization Hands on Experience with 3D design tool - CREO 7.0 or above / AUTOCAD Knowledge of ERP / SAP and PLM / PDM software Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes including sheet metal and Structural fabrication Preferred to have experience of AC / Servo drives Fluent communication in verbal and written form in English
