D2C Freight Sales - Business Development

As a Business Development leader at Prozo, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth by identifying and targeting potential clients, developing effective sales strategies, and fostering strong relationships to understand their needs. Your responsibilities will include developing a comprehensive business plan to acquire clients within a specified timeframe, working as a solution sales expert to maintain excellent client relationships, nurturing warm prospects, generating leads through various channels, managing a pipeline of interested prospects, collaborating with the Solution Design team on commercial scoping and design, and ensuring proper MIS & reporting. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in front-end business development or supply chain consulting roles, with a preference for industries such as 3PL warehousing & freight, contract logistics, supply chain consulting, and D2C Freight Sales. Strong commercial acumen, exceptional communication skills, the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively under pressure, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a hunter mindset are essential qualities for success. Additionally, possessing excellent team dynamics skills and a sense of ownership to solve customer problems will be valuable assets.
