Job Description

Cybersecurity Project Manager (Hybrid | Chennai)

Role:

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

Knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, frameworks, standards, policies and procedures
(e.g., NIST CSF, ISO 2700x series)Deep Knowledge
Ability to design and implement cybersecurity strategy within the organizationGood
Strong knowledge in one or more cybersecurity domains such as Application Security or Data SecurityGood
Understanding of key principles across multiple cybersecurity domains
(e.g., Network Security, Vulnerability Management) and ability to collaborate with Subject Matter Experts –Good Understanding
Project management practices, reporting, and experience using tools such as
SharePoint, Planner, Microsoft 365, PowerBI, Confluence, Jira –Deep Knowledge
IT Risk Assessment and Management, including identifying, evaluating, and mitigating risks –Good

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage cybersecurity projects across multiple business units.
• Implement cybersecurity frameworks and controls aligned with NIST CSF, ISO 2700x, and internal policies. • Collaborate with technical SMEs across AppSec, Data Security, Network Security, and Vulnerability Management. • Drive project planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting using PM tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Planner). • Conduct IT risk assessments and support risk mitigation planning. • Prepare dashboards/reports using PowerBI or MS365 tools. • Coordinate with stakeholders for technical discussions, audits, remediation tracking, and compliance. • Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and security initiatives.

Required Experience

Minimum
5+ years
of experience in Cybersecurity / Information Security roles. • Hands-on experience in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and project delivery. • Strong understanding of frameworks such as
NIST CSF, ISO 2700x
. • Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and documentation skills.

Additional Details

Immediate joiners preferred (or candidates with short notice periods).
• Open to candidates currently in Chennai or willing to relocate.
