Cyber Security Specialist

Role Overview: As a Cyber Security Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead and manage infrastructure security initiatives, focusing on network security, firewall governance, compliance assessments, and incident readiness. You will collaborate closely with IT, business teams, and vendors to ensure robust security controls across the organization. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct security assessments including Vulnerability Assessment (VA), Penetration Testing (PT), secure configuration reviews, and firewall reviews. - Review and approve firewall rule base, VPNs, and remote access setups to maintain a secure network environment. - Operate and manage tools such as Breach & Attack Simulation and Deception Tech to enhance security measures. - Lead Red Team exercises and conduct cyber crisis management drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents. - Evaluate new infrastructure and cloud projects from a security perspective to identify and address any vulnerabilities. - Drive security awareness programs and assist in policy/guideline reviews to promote a culture of security within the organization. - Coordinate with vendors and prepare detailed reports for senior management to provide insights on the organization's security posture. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in cyber security roles, with a strong understanding of network security principles and practices. - Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH will be advantageous. - Proven experience in conducting security assessments, managing security tools, and leading security initiatives effectively.
